DescriptionHanging trammel grease lamp with adjustable ratchet. Lamp is round with spout at one end for wick; on opposite side a vertical arm with two strips of iron at top curled into a heart motif. Slot in arm of lamp fits over hoook on arm of drip pan, allowing lamp to be removed. Drop pan a round pan with vertical arm which curves forward, same heart motif at top of arm. Drip pan attached with iron loop to bottom of long flat strip of iron with 27 ratchet teeth on one side. Top of ratchet piece has slot through which hook piece slides. Hook piece is a long flat strip of iron with hook at top for hanging; and at bottom curved piece with slot which fits over ratchet piece and hooks under teeth. Top and bottom ends of hook piece curled.
