DescriptionBodice to two piece afteroon dress (bodice COS0071.0002.1 and skirt COS0071.0002.2). Brown and black heavy silk, size small; skirt apart, but full with buckram and braid at hemline; bodice buttons down front, round neck, long sleeves lined with brown plaid gingham and trimmed with beaded braid; bodice trimmed with beaded braid. Black and brown silk; 2 piece jacket and skirt, afternoon dress. Beaded braid detail on bodice and sleeves. Material 1858 date. Skirt has been redone.
