DescriptionAfternoon dress. Green plaid, flowered stripe silk; full skirt lined with cambric, box pleated at waist; bodice tight, full in front; trimmed at v-neck and around sleeves with green and yellow braid. Long shoulder line, small armhole, wide bell sleeves (worn with under sleeves). Short waist. Warp print silk, green plaid and floral. Broad sleeve, 1855-58. No apparent alteration. Braid decoration at sleeve and neck. Deep "v" front.
