DescriptionSkirt for ballgown (2005.14a,b). Ivory silk & lace over heavy cotton lining. Lace covered silk skirt with silk waistband. Long pendant silk ribbons at back of sirt, 3 ¾” wide, ending in heavy silk rosettes with another at waist. Bottom is lined with heavier fabric (buckram?) and pleated edging. Modified bustle formed with string on inside of skirt. Waist: 28”, overall 41” x 42”. Undamaged. Some soiling at bottom of hem.
