DescriptionBodice for ballgown (2005.14a,b). Ivory silk & lace. Sewn-in stays front & back. Front closure with stays & hooks. Stand-up collar with embroidered lace appliqué. Hand & machine sewn. Damage from age & perspiration. Silk fractured under arms, at left elbow, stain at right waist. Sleeves from shoulder to wrist: 22”, overall 42” x 19”
