DescriptionWalnut, leather, cloth. Sleigh-form rocking chair, with two plank sides (1 1/8") curved at the bottom into rockers and serpentine at the top, molded and cut with scrolls at the front and back. The chair has a bottom formed of curved boards with six horizontal braces. The carved horse's head with leather bridle tacked on is attached to the front and to a medial brace. At the back is an upholdstered seat and seat back with a curved wood piece that pivots to cover the top of the seat back.
