DescriptionSilk damask. Ivory colored silk dress: Skirt (1995.19.2), bodice (1995.19.3), pair of shoes (1995.19a and b), fragment with attached hooks, fragment of the silk, and fragment of the lace (1995.19.4), a box of orange blossoms (1995.19.5). Dress was altered three times, as per notes in the file (in 1941, 1945, and ca. 1955). 1995.19.1 is a photograph of couple, with the woman wearing the wedding dress (assume that it is the grandmother prehaps at a later reunion).
