DescriptionWax head piece. Off white, mock orange blossoms, leaves; made of a celluloid substance wired onto a head piece; originally had a hip length veil worn with Cos86.44. Description for Cos86.44: Ecru lace wedding dress. Short puffed sleeves, sweetheart-shaped neckline, fitted to below hips, long train, buttoned up back. Worn with cream colored satin slip, long net veil attached to a coronet of pearl-like flowers and leaves. separate net, lace ribbon that was used for a bow for bridal bouquet. Cos86.44 (dress); Cos86.44a (veil? probably slip); Cos86.44b (headpiece); Cos86.44c (ribbon). Not certain location is for this set of orange blossoms.
