DescriptionPair of shoes. 1995.19: Silk damask. Ivory colored silk dress: Skirt, bodice, pair of shoes (1995.19a,b), fragment with attached hooks, fragment of the silk, and fragment of the lace, a box of orange blossoms. Dress was altered three times, as per notes in the file (in 1941, 1945, and c. 1955). 1995.19.1 is a photograph of couple, with the woman wearing the wedding dress (assume that it is the grandmother prehaps at a later reunion). Misc. Newspaper clippings, calling cards, descriptions of wedding in file, lists of: seating plan, menu, gifts, and cards.
