DescriptionA pair of slippers. The uppers are made of white silk satin. Construction called turned or stitched inside out. The shoes have square toes and undifferentiated, flat leather soles. A ribbon bow embellishes the instep. The insole is white leather with a leather and white cotton sock lining. The shoes were to be worn with Cos52.1: Wedding dress. Creme, watered silk; full skirt over taffeta drop-skirt; tight fitting bodice, wide neck, short sleeves; fur on neck not original, it had fine lace 3 wide. Has a gusset under the arms. Worn with slippers Cos52.1a, and gloves Cos52.1b.
