DescriptionWood, cotton, velvet. Very crude wooden doll (Per2236); no legs; dowels for arms; painted face and slightly carved nose; slight remains of some kind of hair that had been glued to head. Doll is dressed with gold colored velvet bodice; white embroidered collar; plain white underskirt and petticoat with embroidered border. Doll comes with box of miscellaneous clothing not made for this doll. Contents of cardboard box (Per2236a-d): a) 6 1/4" navy blue serge pleated skirt; b) red and blue bead necklace, 7" long; c) white, sleeveless cotton undergarment with legs. Lace trim at neck and cuffs, 7 1/2 x 5"; d) white cotton dress, 6 1/2" heavily embroidered on front of bodice, cuffs and hem.
