DescriptionSewing box covered with embossed red leather (imitation?). Brass keyhole escutcheon. Brass lion's heads handles on either side. Brass claw feet (back two are broken and are in the drawer, along with the key). Shallow drawer in front with brass decoration and brass ring. Inside cover is a looking glass edged with gold paper cut in points, embossed. Pin cushion in the front center compartment, with a compartment on either side, with covers topped with green leather and brass knob. Center compartment with green leather cover and five compartments at the back, the two outside ones have green leather covers with brass knobs. Sections contain: needle cases (6), needle cushion shaped like a fish, lace edging, slender steel tool, six square pieces of ivory, artificial daisy with sachet, dried onion with attached ribbon, key, two rocks, wooden dowl, (imitation butter churn) inscribed "Wallace Monument Abbey Craig", wooden flower, satchel with three mice, cloth measuring tape, carved wooden spool (?).
