DescriptionCotton. Commercially made cloth-stuffed doll. Gauze stretched over face. Seam sewn around middle of head, and shape of face defined by three pieces of thread pulled under chin. Printed face with brown eyes. One piece white cotton stuffed body. Mitten-shaped hands: only thumb defined. Stitching at knees. Dress contemporary to doll. Blue and white striped cotton dress with blue embroidered stripes. Lace band down center front of bodice. Wide ruffles around armholes. Lace trimmed cap of same material as dress. White cotton chemise and white cotton lace edged drawers with drawstring waist.
