DescriptionConical brazier, tin. Painted green with a stencil design in gold. Used for boiling water, somewhat like the present-day percolator. Hinged door near the base gives access to a small oil burner inside. Above, two tin containers, for water, or possibly coffee, fit closely inside the brazier, their lips hanging from the lip of the brazier, the whole covered tightly with a lid. There are perforations in the side for steam, and two handles. Four component parts: brazier, lid, and two (2) interlocking tin containers (currently wedged together but may be able to be separated).
