DescriptionHollow cast, two halves brazed together and turned on lathe. Brazing seams no longer visible. Base and stick are separate pieces, ends of stick inserted through hole in top of base where spread to lock together. Base rectangular with angled corners -- slightly misshapen. Flat part of base has molded edge, then bell shaped upper section of base. Stick has thin reel then large bulb above which undulating section, reel, and straight section at socket with rings and reel at top. At very top a drip pan. Through center of stem is iron rod which attaches at top to bottom of socket which presumably moved up and down at one time when the rod was pushed, forcing out candle stubs. Now too corroded to move.
