MarkingsPaper label: initials H.D.T. (possibly those of grandchild). Writing in ink: "Thomas Hosmer/ Born 1703/ Married 1731/ Died 1787". Paper label on base of plate: "Concord Sept 5 1867/ This Wooden Plate blonged [sic] to Mr & Mrs Thomas & Prudence Hosmer - Parents of Major Joseph and Benjamin & Dinah Hosmer who was 92 years when she died Dec 31 1831 --given to me by one of the great granchildren H.D.T./ C.E. Davis".
