DescriptionHair and hide, brass, leather, wood, iron. Box in the shape of a trunk, ornamented with brass-headed tacks on decorative leather stripping. Wooden frame. In the chest were the daguerreotypes of Major and Mrs. James A. Barrett (Pi2500a,b) and a handkerchief (Per1172.2) which belonged to Mrs. Barrett.
