DescriptionPhotograph of a plaque. Plaque (M901) was given in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Shepard Barrett (M901, Ph10) and once hung by the front door of the Concord Antiquarian Society. Inscription reads, "BARRETT / HUMPHREY BARRETT, in 1635, was one of the / Founders of Concord / COLONEL JAMES BARRETT / on the Nineteenth of April, 1775, gave command / to the Minutemen to march to the attack / at the North Bridge / The building of this house by the / CONCORD ANTIQUARIAN SOCIETY / was made possible in 1929 by gifts in memory of / MR. AND MRS. EDWIN SHEPARD BARRETT."
