Black lace over black cotton satteen (sateen?); lace pleated at waist with an extra lace piece poufed in back; bodice hooks up front narrow 3/4 sleeves, high neck with white cord trim; black ribbon bows 4 down front with a black ribbon bow on each sleeve;. Black lace, 2 piece black lace dress trimmed with grosgrain bows. 1880s bodice with tight sleeves. Lace added to puff sleeves c. 1890.
