DescriptionBlack embroidered net over beige satin two piece dress for evening; skirt (COS79.98.2) has three tiers of ruffles, fuller and slightly longer in back; bodice (COS79.98.1) is boned; low round neck with black velvet ribbon trim; short puff sleeves. Black dotted net, alencon lace. 2 piece evening gown of black polka dotted net appliqued with alencon lace. Skirt has three flounches of net/lace. Bodice has boat-like net with velvet bow decoration at left side. Underskirt/bodice of cream satin. Puff sleeve and wing a feature of c. 1907.
