DescriptionWoman's "Edwardian" dress. Off-white linen dress with crocheted net bodice. V-neck with a net panel across breast, embroidered with large flowers in black. Linen panel of the lower breast has an asymmetrical point at the proper left side, with crocheted buttons attaching the linen to the net. 3/4 net sleeves with linen and lace cuffs, as well as crocheted buttons. Skirt is relatively plain, with one shorter layer ending at knee. Wide black velvet attached sash at waist; closes at back with 16 buttons and 2 hooks. Back of dress has similar design as front, with two rows of the crochet-covered buttons at center closure.
