DescriptionBarrel shaped canteen, varnished wood. 8 staves, four wooden hoops at each end, two end pieces, set into a groove at each end of the staves. Hoops are held tight by notching the ends. Hole in enter of one stave. Cork inside. Painted yellow, and varnished over paint.
