MarkingsLabel on bottom of tray has same history as Tolman catalogue. At each end of the bottom of the tray is an impressed mark which reads "S. BADLAM" and at center impressed mark "A.W". Possibly one or both are maker of tray (see artist information). Old file card identifies S. Badlam as the maker, speculates that AW was the owner.

DescriptionOval tray with scalloped fence. Bottom of tray one piece, with fence set in groove near edge. Fence one, possibly two pieces, lapped at side. Brass handles at each end. Handles bolted through bottom on inside of fence, with spur that hooks over top of fence. Handles have scrolled ends with volutes. Tray painted at later date (see over).
