DescriptionWood, shagreen or leather, velvet, brass. Wood box covered with black, rough grained material. Front curved out, front surface of lid slopes down. Lid hinged. Three small reel-like feet on bottom. Handle with openwork plate on lid. Lock with brass plate on box, fitting on lid. Inside, wood framework of slots with sloping top. 18 slots altogether.
