DescriptionWood, leather, chamois or leather, brass. Leather-covered wooden knife box with sloping, hinged lid. Lid fits over lip on box. Top and sloping front surfaces have beveled edges. Box and lid covered with dark green leather, with thin tooled and gilded borders around edges. Brass handles with plates on sides of box. In center of front, lock with brass plates. Inside box is wood framework of slots for flatware. 126 slots altogether.
