DescriptionBrown leather needlework case with 2 leather handles, metal latch (detached), lined with red paper, lid with blue fabric with slots for sewing equipment. From a collection of miscellaneous personal items (Per2167.1). The only ones designated in folder with individual accession numbers are Per2167.1d (Needlework bag) and Per2167.1b (Daguerreotype). The collection also contains the following: necklace, strands of fine beads, looped; string of heavy white opaque beads, small gold beads between; black jet necklace, links and large cross; pair of jet bracelets, jet strung on heavy thread; belt buckle, woman's head in relief in black on black jet; brooch, woman's head in relief in black on purple glass (?); shirt stud, woman's head in relief; daguerreotype, 2 women seated and wearing bonnets, 2 1/2" x 2"; needlework copy books; needlework case, leather covered; brooch (unset), carved ivory, doves, etc. in white on yellow; pin cushion, 2 shells, velvet between; purse, mother of pearl, Mrs. Robbs as a young girl; pair of black leather gloves; card case; round brooch (unset), carved ivory, flowers in relief; eye glasses, lorgnette.
