DescriptionFlint lock musket. "This weapon bears the earmarks fo the Kentucky rifle, i.e. fancy patch box, silver wire inlay, typical Kentucky brass furniture, as well as set triggers. However this weapon has the smoothbore, half octagon barrel with grooved breech rear and pin front sights of the New England fowling piece. The stock is of black walnut, half stock to the muzzle, with seven pieces of silver inlay, one of which has a capital 'G' engraved upon it."
