DescriptionFowling Piece. Full stocked flintlock musket. Stored with matching wooden case. Barrel with a relief rib along the top edge tapering to a point 3" from muzzle, dovetailed for a (missing) sight 7" from the breach and with foliate chasing around breach. Drilled plug in breach. Grooved tang. Lock a replacement and mortice pieced. Incorrect cock. Brass butt plate with foliate relief modelling along top edge of stock. Brass lugger guard, lock plate, 4 brass guides for wooden ramrod. Forearm tip missing. Cherry (?) stock molded above ramrod and near barrel at breach.
