DescriptionA folding hand fan. The fan features black lacqured sticks and a black lace mount. The lace is doubled over to create a 3-d effect and painted with decorative motifs including angels, flowers, landscape. Each slat is highlighted with painted floral branch. Attached purple ribbon on each exterior slat. Attached black ribbon and black and gold tassel. Brass ring. 1995.20.1-.197: fan collection.
