Description1995.20.157a: ivory and paper fan. Paper ribbon at top is about 3" wide and on one side, shows people in 18th century clothing, crowding around a cradle with baby. On the other side, the baby appears as a little girl. Exterior slat has lost half the ivory, exposing gold gilt beneath it. Slight blackening to other sticks on the ivory. Slight tearing to top of several of the leaves. Attached tag: "Mrs. Peasley/ from/ Jessie."
