DescriptionA long, narrow and rectangular box with hinged lid. The box features a polychrome printed bird and flower motif on the exterior. The interior is line with white paper. The interior of the lid features a maker's mark in the lid reads: STERN BROTHERS / WEST TWENTY THIRD STREET / NEW YORK / FANS AND OPERA GLASSES. The box accompanies a fan 1995.20.153a: Ivory and net fan. Ivory has incised design and inlaid steel sequins. Net has applied sequins and spangles (floral motif). Steel ring.
