DescriptionAltar hanging (?) of solid needlepoint, embroidery. Background is ecru with a large cross of brown, edged with broder of yellow leaves on red. Arms of cross extend the width and length of the fabric. All three arms have floral designs in blue, red and green. At the crossing of the arms, a design, possibly the host. Sprays of flowers in blues and yellow surround the cross. Embroidery in silk thread. Obviously cut from a larger piece.
