DescriptionH2076.1b: Bundle of 7 wooden surveyor's stakes tied with white string. Hand-hued sticks tapering to a point. Made by E. Whiton, Groton, Mass., serial no. 19, (year) 1828. Surveyor's instrument, chains and wooden stakes in a wooden box painted dark green, with two metal clasps on the front for fastening and a metal handle on the top.
