DescriptionMahogany, Empire style. Scrolled and embellished arms, with diagonal scoring and supported on carved pineapples. Rectangular members below are veneered and paneled. Front legs are in the inverted cup form characteristic of many pieces of the period, and are carved in a water leaf design. Covering is black horse-hair nailed with brass headed nails.
