DescriptionPine, painted. Also called "beaufet." Flat top. Series of moldings, with an additional cornice, i.e. a dentil molding, a quarter round, a cove, and an astragal. Sides are chamfered and have two narrow panels. On the front, either side of the opening, are two fluted pilasters extending from the base through the cornice. Opening of upper cupboard is cut at the top in the form of having the horizontal line broken by a half circle seen on the dials of clocks. Three graduated shelves, cut in graceful curves with a deep scallop in the middle of each, and molded at edges. Lower cupboard has two paneled doors hung on H hinges. Behind them is a single straight shelf.
