MarkingsAbove the panels of the door are painted the words, "Judah Potter, 1725" in old English lettering, red and blue. Probably put on cupboard after its purchase for the Antiquarian Society.

DescriptionPine, painted. Cornice moldings are fillet, cyma recta, a fillet, a small cyma reversa, dental molding, small cyma reversa. Either side of the opening are fluted pilasters which extend from the base molding to the cornice, and are carried round the corner on the chamfered sides to meet the wall. Upper cupboard is open and has three graduated molded shelves cut in graceful curves, each with a deep scallop at the center. Lower cupboard enclosed behind a two panel door hung on H hinges. Single straight shelf.
