DescriptionBodice (COS81.66.2) to 3 piece afternoon dress. (2 bodices COS81.66.1 and COS0081.0066.2, and 1 skirt COS81.66.3) lavender silk with purple polka dots. Bodice has pointed front and back at waist, long sleeves, round neck, buttons up front with purple velvet buttons. Darker velvet trim on the shoulder, and the lace at wrist has a flower pattern along the edge. Larger bodice was made c. 1915 for costume use. Lavender warp print silk with dotted pattern. Reproduction has modern stitching, probably c. 1920.
