DescriptionBall dress (evening dress): 4 piece aqua silk dress with train, includes skirt (b), overskirt (c), bodice (a), sash (d). High-waisted bodice, low square neckline, short puffed sleeves, back closure. Skirt is gored to make front waistline and hips are smooth but with fullness showing in a flare near the hem. Skirt has a gathering at rear waistline for "back emphasis." Overskirt made of white organdy gathered into a pouf effect. There is a seperate blue satin waist band with panels in back. The decorative trim is pinked-edge pleated blue satin attached to lower edge of skirt, sleeves, overskirt and waist band. Lace on overskirt and sleeves.

Small size waist; excellent condition. Has a hoop. Was probably a bluer color originally.
