DescriptionBodice to two piece afternoon dress (bodice COS0079.0142.1 and skirt COS0079.0142.2). Black faille; bodice has puffed sleeves; pleated at elbow with lace cuffs; high neck with lace trim; hooks up front with a point at waist; skirt gored and pleated near waist; back fullness ?; no waist band. Black silk. 2 piece; bodice and skirt with pleat detailing. Lace trim at high neck and cuffs. Skirt remade c. 1908. Could be used with white blouse if put on waist band. Working girl skirt. Bodice c. 1893, wouldn't be worn with remade skirt.
