DescriptionBodice to afternoon dress, 3 pieces (bodice COS0079.0140.1, skirt COS0079.0140.2 and belt COS0079.0140.3). Plum colored (purple) faille, bodice had high neck; full long sleeves; hooks up front (addition put on front), skirt long with back fullness; has a separate waist band with rosette trim. Dark blue silk faille. Dark blue silk, some fading. Added velvet panel in bodice. Puff in sleeve, point in back of bodice. Straight columnar skirt with no panels. 1891 dress, belt maybe added c. 1899 to cover point in bodice.
