DescriptionBodice for afternoon dress COS78.77. Two piece (Bodice COS78.77.1 and skirt COS78.77.2) striped silk/satin; high neck bodice, full sleeves at shoulder, narrow at wrist; hooks up front; trimmed with blue satin collar and revers; blue satin ribbon at waist and streamers down front. Worn with umbrella Cos78.78, also bag Cos78.77a. Fabric to match for hat. Blue striped silk satin, long waistline early 1890s. Large sleeves. Unaltered c. 1893 bodice. Satin ribbon detail to bodice, sleeves.
