DescriptionTwo piece dress, skirt (PER2106.1.1) and bodice (PER2106.1.2). Maroon colored, white sprigged, sateen. The waist (which is separate) is trimmed with wine colored velvet and there is a row of small silk buttons down the front. Wine colored velvet cuffs. Skirt has two narrow ruffles at the bottom. Costume description: Plum color print; 2 pieces. Cotton sateen with velvet trim. 1890 bodice, short. Good columnar 1891 skirt. No obvious alterations. Neat and stylish, less pretentious fabric, cotton sateen.
