DescriptionGreen silk. Note hooks and eyes. Skirt has been shortened at some point. Bodice sleeves have been completely re-cut, probably began as a dress of the 1850s (late 1850s material). Sleeve originally pleated into opening with trim around bell. Re-cut later with trim applied down center of sleeve. Skirt was probably cartridge pleated originally, was completely re-cut in gored mode with machine applied trim. Remake date: 1867-68, machine stitching extensive in remake.
