DescriptionBodice to two-piece evening dress (bodice COS0070.0024.1 and skirt COS0070.0024.2). White organdy; skirt gathered front and back; slight train; front panel with rows of lace and a lower row ruffle of lace caught up with wide satin ribbon. Waist is cut very low in front with tripple ruffles of lace. Long sleeves of net, embroidered and ruffle of same. Lace and organza and silk ribbon. Transparent top and skirt with lace detail, cream colored. Vertical emphasis on sleeve. c. 1877.
