DescriptionCeramic, parian? Brown and white. Brown ground is pitted and ribbed to resemble the bark of a tree, branches and leaves white. Figure of a boy perched on a branch, holding a nest with nestlings and a bird approaching the nest with food in her mouth. On other side, a boy climbing the tree, his hat fallen off and his jacket caught on a limb of the tree. He is climbing to reach a nest with baby birds. Handle is part of a branch of the tree on which an ivy vine is twined.
