DescriptionMilitary sword (a), sheath (b) and hanger (c). Typical form, Massachusetts Militia (?). Scabbard made of nickel-plated steel with gilt brass. Chape of rounded brass, roughly U-shaped. Two bands of brass with floral relief around scabbard, one with two metal loops, the other with one.
