DescriptionF2134e: lined notebook with a wrap-around black leather case. Edges of paper are green. The notations are dated from June 1863 to August 1864. Appears to be a ledger of monthly expenses. Ledger has not been filled. Stuck inside pages: two addressed envelopes address to Mrs. Monzo Burgess Concord Mass. Also newspaper clipping--poem entitled "The Soldier's Mother" Also a cardboard advertisement for a bookseller in Ohio. Newspaper poem clipping "The History of Life."
