DescriptionCopper half cent coin. Obverse: figure of Massasoit from the Massachusetts arms facing proper right and the inscription "COMMON/WEALTH," beaded border. Reverse: eagle from the United States arms facing proper right with the incuse words "HALF/CENT" on the shield, surrounded by the inscription "MASSACHUSETTS." and dated 1787 in the exergue, beaded border.
