DescriptionSkirt as part of a three piece outfit. Grey wool, grey silk chiffon. 3 piece jacket (COS57.8.1), skirt (COS57.8.2) and blouse (COS57.8.3). Jacket and skirt of grey wool. Jacket has silk cord trim over shoulders. Frog closures. Jacket falls to below knee but is split in 4 pieces. (tails) from waist down. Skirt has piecing detail center front. Jacket has been altered. Underneath top layer is another layer of pink silk cord appliques. Needs a blouse (Cos57.8a, grey silk chiffon blouse with crochet and lace trim. Fix lining). Skirt falls from top of petersham. Coat--narrow sleeve, plain neck. Trim right over shoulder, c. 1908.
