DescriptionSkirt to two-piece wedding dress (bodice COS49.2.1 and skirt COS49.2.2). Two piece satin dress. Overdress of darned net imitating Brussels applique lace. Quilted satin reticule to match, Cos49.2a. Silk satin and net overskirt, embroidered. Wedding dress; 2 piece jacket and skirt. No piping. Center back seam, seams to shoulders. Net overskirt might be Indian tambour work. Diamond-ground net typical of 1830s or 1840s
